Yep, loving the car. Going to do the first major DIY job soon. Broke the oil filler tube changing the oil (brittle plastic, fixed it gorilla tape as a stop gap), and it seems that coolant tank is starting to leak (tank is original and has original cap).

So will tackle both jobs as soon as parts get here.

Very nice pics. I love seeing p-cars getting used year round.
BTW I wouldn't leave that gorilla tape on the filler tube for too long. As it gets dry from the heat cycles it can break off and get sucked right down the filler neck under hard acceleration.

Like others have said, those are great pics of a beautiful car. Likewise, I plan on driving mine year-round . Do you run snow tires in the winter? Dig the four seasons of Porsche motif, btw.

Good luck on the DIY projects.

Hoodoo, I did not have winter tires on the Porsche this winter. It was a very dry winter in AZ, so I could always make it to Snowbowl resort without much trouble.

Inherent benefit of the RR drive-train layout is the superior traction on the rear wheels, so adverse road conditions are easily manageable in the 911. With tiptronic I also got the benefit of 2nd gear start.

Those are awesome pics. I'm very jealous. Wish I had roads like that to take advantage of.

I changed out my oil filler tube last year. It took a bit of time but wasn't too bad. Getting the alternator out is a bit of an PITA though due to the locking bolt. Need to hit it pretty hard to release.

Have Pirelli WinterSports on my C4S this last NE winter(tundra) and traction control came on a total of twice. Sent from my iPhone using Rennlist

Summer lap 2. Snapped this picture today and really like the different colors all over.
