Default Clutch Replacement DFW Area

I have a 99MY Cab & the clutch started slipping today.
I believe the IMSB is original.
I planned to do both jobs myself, but the car is a DD & I don't have the time in my work schedule to perform the repair(s). I just got a quote to do both clutch, flywheel and IMSB @ $5,500 which seems high.

Any recommendations for an independent in DFW that is reasonable on this repair?
AOS replaced in December btw

Why don't you at least check with Hans Hoffman at RAC? They did my PPI and I really enjoyed talking with him. Great guy and knows the 911.

I'd be interested to know what the quote is - I plan on using RAC for my eventual clutch replacement.

I left the exact # on my desk at work but seems to me it was $2300 pressure plate and LNS upgrade. Add 1000 if flywheel required.
Dropping it off tomorrow.

Chris's car care in Grapevine. Works on Imports but mainly German.
He put a Clutch PP and TO bearing AND an IMS bearing upgrade. I had already bought a Sachs clutch and parts $2400 for everthing else. I should have had the AOS done too. My 60000 mile service was $550.

KK thank you for the referral.
RAC delivered on budget, kept me informed and great advice.
New clutch & associated parts, LNS upgrade plus alignment and new valve for SAI system.
Runs great.
I'd recommend Hans and the shop.

I'm not sure how I missed your update.

I'm glad everything went well. I'll be using RUF for my clutch replacement (whenever that may be).

Enjoy the new clutch and peace of mind!

I purchased my 02 C4S from RAC couple years ago via ebay auction. Had PPI with the dealer and car shipped to me in san antonio. Was just as advertised. All paperwork to include receipt history followed and service was good with them. I wouldnt hesitate to use for maintenance also if they were a bit closer.
