Default Durametric Software question

Can the Durametric Software pinpoint what component is sending a fault to generate the warnings displayed on the dash? For instance I'm getting ABS/PSM Failure drive to workshop on my 04 C2 and am wondering if this would clearly tell me if its the MAF Sensor, Brake Switch or individual brake sensor. Thanks, Ralph

When you hook up the Durametric it queries the DME for fault codes, displays the fault code(s) and tells you what component generates the code(s). You can also erase the fault codes. As for the MAF, it will actively display the MAF reading that will tell you whether it is within operating range. Hope that helps. It is well worth the price and I use my Durametric software on my laptop so it is easy to check out the car.

Yes that does help thank you... I'm going to the Dealer tomorrow so we'll see what's up with my current issues. Ralph
