KCattorney - You should come to the KCRPCA breakfast. Every (yes every) Saturday @ 7:00 we meet for breakfast at Le Peeps, approx 79th and Quivira. We usually have about 20 to 25 people show up. We chat for a while then head in for Breakfast by 7:30... or a little earlier if it is cold. :-)

I may make it this week. It's on my priority list. By the way, a little known Kansas City Auto Museum policy - anybody driving a 996 to the museum gets free admission. The are three 996s owned among the 8 board members.

I'll chime in... I've had my 996 Aero for about a month, and I love it. Although I haven't had a single person comment on it, or give me a thumbs up, or anything...

I think he means on the street, in person. We Rennlisters slobbered all over Sailor's car. He almost backed out of buying it a couple of times, but we talked him back down off the ledge. It is a really unique car - love those color-matching wheels.

It's all relative. I don't see too many avg folks going goo goo ga ga over any gold looking car.

This is one of those specialty car colors that generally do not appeal to the masses.

I just added mine to my signature. I have gotten called out once or twice for having a MKII wing - you know, because that's evil and wrong in the eyes of a true porschephile. While I truly enjoy the camaraderie both here and from PCA members, some people get hung up about ridiculous crap.

My car is even cooler than any of the models I had as a kid. I'm pretty sure I'd get a high-five from 10-year-old me if he saw the car he wound up driving.

Love the aero...grain and 5CHN3LL look great even with the "wrong" spoiler. I think the gold looks awesome with the matching wheels.
