I don't think so since the turbo/c4s rear is wider by a almost 2". However, the bumper is plastic and maybe it will just flex to fit....someone may have tried that before.

Someone installed one a year or so ago.
It required cutting a few inches out of the middle and plastic welding it back together.
Not a quick and easy bolt-on mod.
There are supposedly companies that make Turbo-style rear bumper for NB, but I don't know who they are or where to find them, nor the quality.

These yellow 911s are stunning !!!!

I will never forget myself for not putting on my 996 the full OE aerokit with the carrera rear spoiler when I retrofitted the M030 and XLF options , back then it was something like a grand to get it only as well. Last year I came across a full new OE kit with the rear carrera spoiler and it was like 7 grand....

Nice looking car.

I really need to find a set of stock cans to have bypassed. This car sounds great.

Hey y'all. I ran the VIN of a car for sale that I mentioned above in posts from last week...ran it through VinAudit and it didn't come up with much which was disappointing but a good sign I guess because it looks clean. Five owners and the current owner has only owned it for ~6 months and doesn't have maintenance records from past owners. Would anyone else be able to dig up info with the VIN below? How concerned should I be if he has no maintenance records but a PPI comes out clean? Appreciate any help/guidance!

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this this week, albeit I'm a little hesitant that there aren't service records since they've been lost over 5 owners and I'd be number 6...which does seem high if I ever sell down the road.

I had a long hard talk with my dad about purchasing the car. He's always been a Porsche nut but always said he'd wait until he retired when he had more time to play with it. You can see where this is going...he recently retired and now he's too tired. I don't blame him and he still loves Porsche's but he said his priorities have changed to stay healthy, learn the piano, and play with the grand kids (not mine). When he was first married, he used to own a lot of cool cars and tinkered with them so he understands why I'm so excited to buy this car. He discouraged me from this purchase, saying that it's a phase (I'm 35 and always loved cars/Porsche's, ironically because of my dad) and that he eventually spent a lot of time and money when he was younger and felt a weight lifted when he finally sold them all. He said I wouldn't understand unless I "got it out of my system" but said to learn from him. After the conversation, he said it's my life and maybe I need to learn. I offered the sentiment that I would love to bond with him and fly him out to Seattle to drive it to Maryland where he lives as a father son experience but he shot that down.

I want this car but now I'm second guessing myself and what I'm getting myself into. I'm asking myself - is it just a phase or will I be pleasantly surprised? I've never owned such a nice car and understand that I may not recoup what I monetarily put in but it could be a real gem of an experience. I'm in a serious relationship and I wonder if now's the time and how my priorities may change when it's time to buy a house and have kids (God willing). Anyone have any stories like this with family? Thoughts or advice on the situation and even on the car itself? Anything is appreciated as I'm more than ok with hearing the truth and not necessarily something to affirm me to go buy it. Thanks!

just H&R springs and billy struts. It's a good functional ride height, but it's a bit crashy. I'd really like to go to a PSS10 setup or ohlins R&T's

18" OZ's (let's trade wheels!)

Let's get these cars together for some pics local guy - top of Cypress one of these days? The PCA S2S cruises are great too, but so early in the AM.

I'm running the same suspension! But it looks like I have more wheel gap maybe because of my tires.. I'm running 225/40 and 285/30-18. How bout you? I'd love a set of the Ohlins too.

On the subject of aerokits the carrera spoiler is massively underestimated in my opinion. Does anyone here have this ultra rare spoiler???

The Carrera Spoiler is not everybody's taste, but I like it.
From what I read years ago, it was originally designed for Cabriolet Aero cars, option choice for Coupe

2003 Carrera Aero

I think it looks fantastic and prefer it to the taco spoiler. I wish i could find a full aero kit for my 996 with that spoiler as well. Probably worth as much as a decent 944 8v ....
