Wood package (S Wheel / Shifter Brake)?
I am looking a pre-owned 996 for a friend. The car has ultra low miles for a 99 (12K) and it has the factory x30 ($1580) and Y08 ($875) wood packages.
He isn't wild about the wood. Are the wood parts in high demand and something that will be easy to resell?
The steering wheel is the 4 spoke and there is no wear and tear on any of the parts.

From my experience here I "wood" say the "would" bits are not in much demand at all. 
I have the complete wood interior in mine, but made the mistake of posting a picture here once. I was derided roundly for my choice. Seems lots of folke here think I should have bought a Bently instead. The 4 spoke wheel with wood sounds like a white elephant, now if it was a 3 spoke wheel you might have half a chance....Just my own experience.....
BTW since he does not like the wood, he is lucky all he got was the break handle and wheel treatment. The rest of the package was $6,100......
