Do it- it's great. World class instructors, world class facility, and yeah, you get goodies to take home with you, plus they have a boutique so that you can buy stuff. Most importantly, it really is a great two days, very intense, and the most fun I've had in a long time.

PDE is fun!
Specially if you are a beginner on track.
They will teach you to heel-and-toe, threshold brake, trail brake etc... all in their cars, with top notch instructors. I've gone to PDE in Sebring and Road Atlanta, and I enjoyed myself immensely. You also get to shmooze with some legendary names in Porsche Racing like Hurley Haywood.
Do it, you won't regret it.
Oh, and you also get a Porsche poster autographed by all the instructors, and a framed picture of you in the car (but typical of all things Porsche, you have to pay extra for that)

Default PDE Aug 19-20 is still open

They have some cancellation and that date is open again. After that, the next available spot is in March 2004!

Here is the course schedule: PDE Schedule

My along with another guy at CFG board is going.

BTW, haven't posted here for a while. Had been lurking though!

Sign up as quick as you can, you will have a blast, it's all about driving! as well as driving on perhaps, the best track in the nation, a world class facility.

The best remembrance that they give you is the experience that you take home in your mind!

And auto crossing a Boxster is a blast as well

When I took the PDE at Road Atlanta in 2000, they gave us a group picture mounted in a nice wooden stand with a small 996 model on it and an engraved PDE - Road Atlanta tombstone. It was included in the cost of the 2-day event back then. Some people also bought Porsche die cast models and had them autographed by Hurley and Jack Baldwin.
