Default Who has the TuneRS DOF installed?

By the way, I have to nominate this (background thread) as one of the more interesting IMS threads I have read:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/boxst...injection.html

To those who have a DOF installed:
Year/model?
When was the DOF installed?
Miles covered?
Which bearing are you using?
Did you install it yourself?
General impressions.

In spite of the masses of information already out there, I cannot decide whether I should install a DOF or a single row LNE bearing (or do both).

I do. '99 C2. Single row bearing nstalled 8/13 @ 75k miles. 10k miles on it now. Had it installed with a new clutch when I bought the car. Install was reported to be straightforward (just like the video). No issues and it does not leak. I sleep easy.

The primary reason I have the DOF is that LNE had no dual bearing option and DOF did. Once opened up, the bearing revealed itself to be a single row, not the expected dual row. The engine is a factory replacement which explains the change.

Huh - so I'm making a fraught decision between two options which each cost a few thousand while simultaneously taking a ~$22k gamble on my engine and you think it unreasonable to poll my fellow enthusiasts on their experiences with one of these (relatively new) options? I realize any IMS discussion is toxic but surely some questions are legitimate.
In any regard, if I wanted a binary response from the Rennlist population, I'd have framed the question in that manner.

Surely I am not the only DOF. You others can come out of the closet any time now.

Sure feels good to have warm oil flowing over my *****.

Sorted GTV6's are cool.

Thanks, I am fortunate to own a 4S and a GTV6 .. worlds apart and yet both utterly fantastic. That Jeremy Clarkson mildly disapproves of both makes them that much better IMHO

Come on DOF'ers, let us know you you are
