Upside down and backwards...
I guess my computer display is going out.

Driving down the road sometimes it goes out completely, sometimes the entire screen lights up, once there was a single line across, and today it was magnified, upside-down and backwards.
I did some research and I guess I'll have to send it to be refurbished 'cause I certainly don't want to pay for a new one!

Based on the erratic behavior, I would say that you have a bad connection somewhere.
Have you tried pulling and then re-seating the gauge cluster connectors?
I've seen multiple crazy issues caused by bad connections at the connector that were fixed simply by pulling and then re-seating them.
Couldn't hurt to try... However, I'm thinking that you're bad connection is in either the LCD screens carbon contacts or the microcontroller.

Just do what Homer did in the Simpsons and put some tape over that. All fixed.
On a serious note, that is real wonky. Hope you get it all sorted without having to replace the cluster. I would agree with the post above, sounds like some bad connections. Definitely worth a butchers hook.

2 x T20 torx screws, one behind the hazard switch and one behind the small vent or microphone looking grill on the left-hand side of the gauge pod. It literally takes less than five minutes to remove the two screws, pull and reseat the connectors and put the two screws back in.
