Default Loose headlight assembly

Good morning..

For the past 2 weeks, my headlight assembly has intermittently loosens up. I have tightened it using the 5mm socket, will remain tight for a few :bumps" in the road, and then loosen up again..Would appreciate any input from the board.

Thanks
Peter

Sounds like you need to pull the headlight assembly completely out and look at the seat and locking mechanism.

Sounds like either one of your mounting studs are broken or bent or you didn't seat it correctly when installing. Take it out again and confirm all 4 studs are intact and straight.

It could be a guide pin. It happened to me while i was replacing one of the bulbs. While i was pushing it back in i broke the guide pin in the picture (item 13). It's a few bucks, you can order it from Porsche. There's three more but i believe they are moulded into the headlight assembly. It may not be that at all, but it is a possibility as it did happen to me. Good luck!
