Although it can be ordered on other cars. My friend has a 997TT that's GT Silver Metallic. Great color!

I looked at a ton of 996s when shopping for mine. I just felt dirty in anything but black, it was always my dream and regardless of "good deals" I couldn't pull the trigger on anything but black.

I love seeing the red, yellow, and blue ones running around town. But for me black (which gets no love) really screams sports car.

not taking away from other colors, to each their own...

Here is my 2003 C4S in "Seal Gray". I have owned many different colors on 911s from guards red, silver, diamond blue, white, and black. The condition of my latest C4S had extremely low miles and was in a "like new" condition. That said, it still needed a full detailing. I compete and was a judge in PCA top side concours over the years and tend to be picky with paint conditioning. Every color has their strength and weakness. Seal Gray is a interesting color and I can see why Porsche has used it a lot in advertising and new model debut. It has the depth like black but also hides dust and finger prints like light silver and accentuates the curves on a 911. The color hue changes in different light and has a deep wet shine almost like a glazed donut. It's going to be a very rewarding color to wash but easy to live with while driving and being used.
