The radio is working perfectly,but the screen remain dark.Impossible to read anything.I have checked the contacts without success.May be ,I need to change
it.

have you tried cleaning the contacts on the back of the faceplate with alcohol?

Mine does the same thing. I have cleaned the contacts, and it still does not work. I can see the screen if I shine a flashlight directly above it. I am hoping a $100 face from Becker will solve the problem, but since I have my radio presets done, I just haven't worried about it too much.

If you find a fix, I would be really interested in hearing what it was.

Mine is OK now.Having to disconnect the battery many times,suddenly the screen is alighted asking for the code.The radio is working now.
