Default Source for center caps

An someone recommend a source for center caps. I've seen a bunch on ebay but would love to know what people are buying other than new ones from Suncoast (for example).

Ebay's still your best best. But, be sure you are bidding on OEM caps. Avoid the cheapo copies from China, etc. I made a post about them recently, if you hunt the forums.

Jason, are these brand new OEM caps? Are you including free shipping even with the 10% discount? Thanks.

Thanks. Found your thread and found a new set of 4 OEMs for $89 all in.

That's a great price for 4 OEMs.

(a rather shocking commentary on Porsche parts prices, but ya gotta pay to play)

Also I'm guessing that the "tool" is not really required since it looks like a piece of wire bent into a U-shape.

Correct, no $28.95 tool needed.

Here's mine, fashioned from an old bicycle spoke. The top one is the cap removal tool, the bottom one is for "fishing" the engine cover emergency release cable which I relocated to just behind the left tail light rubber molding (I have a thread on that, too, if you are interested).

I turned on my computer a few hours ago to see 6 orders for these center caps using the discount code RENNLIST. Thank you to all that purchased, I'll get the orders shipped out today and update your transaction with tracking a little later today!

Well the $89 set from eBay turned up. They aren't new as advertised but they're in very good shape. Methinks a Porsche in Florida is missing its center caps...
Here's what they look like with one of my old colored ones in the middle.

Why wouldn't you buy the cheap Chinese duplicates? Do they fall off? Does the color fade? Other than "you get what you pay" for and "do it right or don't do it" is there a functional reason to avoid them?
Thanks to anyone who knows.
