Default Scosche Magic Mount

Just got the Scosche magic mount, it is great. Basically you stick a very thin piece of metal to the back of your phone, or place it under the case as I did, and the mount is a magnet. It looks good even when the phone isn't mounted, makes it super easy to put the phone on it when you get in the car, and allows portrait or landscape. I used a thin metal bracket I had from an earlier installation in the top shelf to hold the surface magic mount but they have several versions. I tried to upload pics but the site keeps telling me I don't have permission. If anyone knows why I would appreciate the help.

Only problem is I probably need to buy a new shelf as I trimmed the side of it for my last mount and it looks a little crappy. It also leaves me wondering: I wonder if two mounts would be strong enough to hold an iPad Mini ...

I use it on the vent near the door on the driver's side because in my car the vents in the middle of the dash turn down under the weight of the phone.
