Anyone in LA with the ebay LED headlights?

I know, but every now and then I see a pic where I think it looks pretty good. But it's very hit and miss so would like to see it in person
i think they fit this boxster pretty good.
But perhaps what I like the most is the litronic/xenon look, with the "eye" in the middle, more like the 997's...

In person, they look cheap and out of place. The design does not match the car and the LED lights are in a generic pattern that does not compliment the car, and there are way more of them than necessary.
Of course, it's your car, do as you please. But, they will severely cheapen the car.

That's one thing I'm not too happy about. I don't really like the OEM headlights.
I don't really the LED one's I currently have on either. Mine are the black housing which look better IMO than the chrome one's pictured. They look decent with the lights off but with the light's on...well...no comment.
Conclusion...I currently have the black LED headlight's and don't really like them...but don't want to go back to OEM's either...there's got to be another solution

If you want to update your headlights - go with the CGT retrofit kit - here you go:

To each his own, I like them and I've had numerous compliments about them. Plug and play, they fit fine and haven't jumped off the car yet! I even bought bought a pair of used litronic OEM 996 headlights off ebay and was going to install those but I liked these better. If someone is looking for a set of original 996 litronic units give me a shout.
I agree with geetee regarding the look with the lights on though, if I drove more at night I'd probably do the Xenon upgrade.

I agree with the above post...I like them. I have the black version currently installed on my Boxster and plan to install them on my black 996. These will replace the OE lights with the orange turn indicators.
Although the CGT build quality looks great, they look too small and empty when put inside the OE housing. I will say the light output with halogen bulbs are ok at best, but plan on adding some xenon bulbs perhaps in the future.

In my case 2 attempts with different systems at polishing out the lenses on my OEM lights didn't result in a satisfactory look so it was an easy decision for me. That picture of the 2 silver cars above showing the comparison shows this perfectly.

Those things are complete garbage and look terrible. Seriously, the LEDs for the blinker and running light are very hit and miss.
