Default Front Lip Spoiler/Skirt

So, I've got to say, the lower front end of my C4 is rather "blaw" looking. Without getting into big money or big mods, I've been searching for some sort of lower front lip/spoiler to add to the car that looks good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Any suggestions?

I found these, but not sure how they would look/fit:

Anyone have any pics with these installed?

Thanks

Did you do a search at all? There have been many threads in the 996 forum on this topic. What year is your 996? In my opinion the vivid racing splitters will look out of place. I think you will be better of spending a few more buck for a full front lip. GT3TEK makes some nice ones that are reasonably priced.

Here are a few post from the 996 forum.

I agree. Don't put yourself in the Honda Camp as this is what you'll see on those cars and it will be embarrasing to pull up to some high school kid on the streets that has the same splitters as you do on your Porsche. my $.02

There are no good bumpers for early gen cars IMO, go gt3 euro spec front bumper or some other alternative.

Ya must admit, should have used Search function to greater effect. No, not looking to sport the "Honda look". Too old and hopefully to tasteful for that... especially on da P-car! I'll look into the different options. Again, looking for something subtle (and cost effective!).

TechArt had another front lip spoiler set for the MK-I car, a smaller piece that goes on both sides of the bottom of the front bumper matching with the same side-skirts as for the MK-II car in the post above. I was looking at those before deciding to stick with OEM GT3 aerokit. Cheers,

If you want something subtle and cost effective, maybe look into fitting the GT3 MK2 Cup lip spoiler on your bumper. There are a few threads that explain how to do it with pics.
