Done that already. And the brightness of the NAV unit is way down too.

It is the eye work to constantly view near and far.

Not helping that I got "cheap" my last eye glasses and didn't want to pay out of pocket for the anti-glare and other coatings that my previous pair of glasses had. I have the old sunglasses and even though they are not the same prescription and as dark they are easier on my eyes than the new sunglasses. I lost the old pair of clear glasses.

Anyhow, I'm due to get my eyes checked again and I might get new glasses with all the anti-glare stuff, maybe even polarized lenses at least in the sunglasses.

6ft4 here. The original sport seats gave me back ache, even after relatively short drives, something I have not experienced in any other car. It even came to the point that I was planning to trade the car in.
I now have bought and mounted 997 adaptive sports seats and it is a night and day difference, much more support and no more back ache.

Certainly not plug and play but for me definitely worth the effort.

I experienced this too until I retrofitted adjustable lumbar bladders which remedied it.

+996 . What may be BEST for one, could be HELL for another. With theat said, the OEM seat/ergo works just fine for me. FWIW, I am 70 inches tall with a 30-inch inseam, in good health/shape (core and back are fine)

So to the OP, what are your "stats?"

7 years I drove my, now sold 84 Carrera, coupe, cross country, from Fl., had sport seats , found them very conf. 2 years ago did similar in a Boxster S 03 , also many 12 h days, no aches.
Now in a lumbar adj. C4 996, keep re adjusting the lumbar and seat angle , too many choices (: but still 10h are no problem ( I think I did find the right for me adj finally (:
Its just so much pleasure and an adrenaline rush to drive the 911's for me.

Yup and surprisingly very easy to retrofit as you can just pull off the back seat cushion literally. Less than 5 min per side to do.

I consider this my top 3 mod for me personally.
