Hey guys. My car has 192k Just did the Spark Plugs, Coil Packs and Oil. I have had this issue from before. But before i would get a CEL for Lean System due to Fabspeed Cats but the EVOMSit fixed that, but i would get that CEL sometimes if i drove around at low RPM's.

Well anyways now the Issue is where when the SAI Kicks in my car stumbles and alllllmost stalls and Farts for a 2-3 Seconds. SAI is louder than before and also get the P0130 CEL "O2 Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 1)"

Any ideas? do i need a new SAI? Thanks in advance

My idea - start with the P0130 CEL code. Replace the O2 sensor Bank 1, Sensor 1. It might just be causing a lean mix at start up, feedback to the DME leaning out the mixture to much, thus the stumble and almost stall. The SAI pump is pumping air into the exhaust at cold start before the cats heat up to fool emission testing equipment. Unplug the SAI pump and see if the problem is still there at cold start. My money is on the O2 sensor needing to be replaced.

CEL went away on its own. But now my car is Idling like crap. SAI is louder than ever and it was smoking when I cold started my car. Car idles terrible and bogs/dies when I give it gas and let off. Gonna install a new SAI to see if that fixes the issue.

Okay solved the issue, all I needed was a new MAF

Curious what other items you've had to deal with with 196k km on the car
I'm also using it as a daily driver

Usual culprits? - door handke/micro switches, rads, RMS, AOS, IMS, ?
How's the suspension held up
How many Kms do you get out of tires
Etc

its not as bad as you think, my IMS and Microswitch are orginal

I've done rads and door switch so far
Rms IMS were done by previous owner when clutch was done but they were ok
I'm driving it hard not worried about it

Car is running great now (Other than I need a new coolant tank) with the new MAF, I wish I had know this before coz I have had the "Loss Of Power" symptom for over 2 years now
