So that was weird...
I took my floor mats out to vacuum the car this afternoon and found a puddle of water under the passenger mat. There was trail of water leading up under the dash and when I took the drain for the the evaporator box apart, I found this in the tube clogging it up...

I'm thinking it was a June Bug, somehow managed to make it's way up the drain tube and wedge itself in the tube.

Weird...
Cleaned the front two drains under the cowl while I was at it.

That's the South American Green-Backed Tube Sucker. Been a major infestation of them, especially in your part of the country. They are also one of the world's leading carriers of the Ebola virus, so hope ya washed yer hands!
I took the floor mat out and there was an obvious wet spot under the mat. I'm not sure when it started but I could see a faint line from under the dash where it was coming from. I wash the car every few weeks so it couldn't have happened too long ago. Hopefully using a half dryer on the carpet was good enough but I'll know when we get back.
I had a squirrel eat the electrical harness. Seemed weird at the time, but the dealer said it wasn't uncommon. Luckily the replacement was covered by insurance. I now keep rodent poison in the garage just in-case another one sneaks-in.
I once lost the evap system purge valve 3 times in a row on a TSX. When they finally disassembled the system there were dozens of yellow sac spiders nesting in there. Creepy.
Acura asked permission to photograph the car and part to send back to a design team. New part has an anti spider screen.

I would suggest pulling enough trim so you can lift the carpet enough to get to the area that was wet. I think you'll find it is still wet and if left unattended you'll get other problems (e.g. Mold and rust). The best drying solution I've found is to stick the hose of a shop vac under the carpet in the wet area and turn it on in blower mode. Just let it run until the area is really dry.
