NO ONE who had carried out an IMSB retrofit had been "qualifying" the engines and only one person had pulled an oil sump prior to the job being done.
This is why I do my own work. Even I knew to do this on my car and Im a n00b. There are many other things that may (probably will) need to be replaced at the same time. Thats why it may not be a good idea to expect a set (low) price. I would certainly trust Jakes judgement on this.

The only reason I take the time to instruct these classes is to help shops understand what they don't know. These guys simply didn't understand the dynamics behind qualifying an engine... They didn't know what they didn't know- none of us do until we become educated.
