Fog light reflector assemblies are design to provide a low and wide beam pattern, the idea being to illuminate the close in roadbed so you can continue forward SLOWLY, not so fast as to over-run the illumination. Useless as driving lights.
The yellow/amber tint will give your human eyes more ability to define terrain better.
That's why night skiiers use yellow tinted goggles.
I always use -AW (All-Weather) bulbs, only in actual daytime foggy conditions,and ALONE.

I know, I was shocked that a $100K car could come with halogen projectors...I read this post and was surprised - a C4S with halogens!!

What surprised me in this case was halogens that look like HID projectors. I hadn't seen/heard of that before.
