Default NB offset question...HELP!!!

I'm going to order my new wheels soon, maybe tomorrow.

On the Victor Equipment site it looks as if there is only one option of offset for the Innsbruck wheels I want.

Will 18x8 45 and 18x10 50 work on my 2003 NB 996?

My original wheels are 18x8 50 and 18x10 65.

Or do I need a 10.5 rear with a 55 offset???

My tires are OEM.

Fronts:

Inner Clearance:
5mm more
Outer Position:
extend by 5mm

Rears:

Inner Clearance:
15mm more
Outer Position:
extend by 15mm
Diameter difference:
0" (0.00%)

Yes they will work.

Here, play with wheel calculator. Courtesy of Acurazine.

I would call them direct for the answer. Good luck!

Cool, so I don't need the 10.5's the 10.0's will work.

Not sure I understand the calculator, but thanks!!!

The only variable you are changing with Victor wheels is off-set. Off-set is distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. With your new wheels you are just decreasing the positive off-set and moving wheel position outward.

I just figured with all the VE Innsbruck wheels on all the 996's on this site that someone would know.

I'm still not sure I understand, but as long as someone smarter than me understands and confirms, that's great.

Both will work. I would go with 10.5 55mm offset as it's a little more aggressive looking

10 by 50mm offset is your wheels in picture sticking out by 15mm(people use spacers and I see quite a few people with that set up)
10.5 by 55mm offset will stick out 17mm or so more than your current BUT the tires will look ever so slightly stretched than on a 10 wide wheel

I'd rather not use spacers and I need to use my original tires.

Is there anyway I can know for sure what wheels will work best? This is confusing to me.

I'm pretty good with cars even tho I sound like I have no clue. It's the offset thing that confuses me.

God, I went through the same agony before I bought. My advice is to figure out where you are buying from and call. Tell them what tires you are going to use and let them size you correctly.

No offense bro but if those are your current wheels in your avatar, you have the best looking factory wheels IMHO. I wish they had those for my car.
