Default 996 rear window regulator

Good evening,on my 996 convertible the window regulator on the passenger side quarter window is broken.
I tried ,not successful, to find a used one,a new regulator the cheapest I found was $671.00. the part # is 996 5430 1606
If somebody has a lead to a less expensive one I would appreciate it,also does anyone know how much the labor is on that one

Thank you

We should be able to get you one, but it usually takes a couple days to get it here and shipped out. For more information Click Here

I would go with Hurdi on this one, if you ship yours to them, they fix it for 140.00.....then ship it back to you....cannot beat that deal......

That company has a good rep on the BMW board I visit. Their regulators break more frequently than ours, believe it or not.

I'm pretty disappointed from your company,I ordered I paid $ 581.32 ,got the confirmation ,just to get a call a couple hours later that they can't sell it for the price.
That is some unusual business practice

We deeply apologize and very sorry for the cost difference. Porsche unexpectedly raised our cost when we placed your order. It doesn't happen often, but they sometimes change the prices with out us knowing.

Seems how public this thread is, you could have fulfilled this customer order for a pretty small price difference. Was this negative PR really worth the $37 price diff between what you originally sold this customer for and what you want to charge now?

I was in contact with customer service and told them about what was going, they did indeed contact ulflei to get everything worked out and a price that was close to first suggested. Sorry again ulflei about what happened with the price, we usually know when a supplier increases the price and adjust the price accordingly, but in this case we didn't.
