Default FOUND ONE

FOUND ONE! Got one!!
Well, it still has to come in the mail, and I still have to verify that it fits, but...

I decided to personally follow up Wicked's advice about DCAutomotive beyond their email back to me.
I called Rex at DCA [(800) 579-2410], and he said no probs -- they just take a **** off one of their switches.
$28 shipped.

I told him that there were several Rennlisters who had voiced the same problem, and he said no probs.

So, give DCA/Rex a call (no affiliation).

Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Got the switch from DC Auto, and I think it is the wrong one!! (See pic).
Unfortunately, my car is in VA, and we are in the process of moving to KY, so could not try it.

However, it does not look like the forward-back, up-down switch.
Instead, it looks like the back tilt.

Anyone confirm this before I call DCA?
Thanks.

Yep, wrong part. The listed part number for the one we all need is incorrect. I've tried ordering it several times, but they all supply the wrong one.

So, the hunt is still on.

How do you run the cables for a complete new panel? I have a seat with the old panel missing, and I got a new panel from a salvage yard, but I can't see how to get the large multiplug routed from the side of the seat to the base where it clips on.

I don't think you can just get a lever, per se, because of the way it is attached. IIRC, it is very easy to break the lever if you try to remove it. And I don't think there is a part number for the **** (just the assembly).

I bought the entire assemble/panel (post #11) and replaced the whole thing. Take the seat out and you will see where the other wires are routed and connected. And not really sure if it has to be specific regarding it being a lumber/non-lumber panel.

Can't remember, but it was pricey for the used unit on ebay. Probably $300.
