Default cabriolet - drivers side window issue

I just had the alternator and the battery done on my car and ever since - the drivers side window does not stay down when I close the door. When I pull the handle it lowers the usual amount but as soon as I let go to shut the door -the window returns to the all the way up position. This only happens when opening from the outside handle - and only about 75% of the time. It operates fine if I open the door from the inside handle.

Anyone have any tricks here or do I have a microswitch going bad somewhere?

Look at this thread. Using a screw driver to close the latch with the door open should show you which switch isn't working correctly.

Just experienced the exact same problem. Turned out to be the door latch micro-switch.
