Default Hit a Deer - please help

Yesterday a very small deer ran into drivers side door and left two very small dents the size of your palm. One about 10" horizontally in front of the handle. The door won't open from the outside, alignment of the door seems correct. Window opens properly. Car locks even with the window down (don't think it should do this?). Any ideas what the problem is? Maybe some electrical micro switch. Going in repair shop tomorrow and would like to give them a heads up on possible fix.
Thx for any insight.

You can still lock the door with the windows down but should get a horn beep that the window is down. Sorry about the door mate.

My WAG is the deer impact knocked some link arm loose that connects the handle to the door latch. Just a WAG as I've never really spent any time studying the inside of the Porsche doors, just recalling from distant memory what other brands of doors looked like with the door panel removed.

The dents might be fixable using some paintless dent removal techniques.

Regardless, as deer impacts go not a real bad one.

Just vow to eat more venison going forward.
