Good luck on the hunt. They show up occasionally in the For Sale section and on Ebay. Definitely not cheap!

I'm not sure if it's still there but there was a refurbished primered MK1 OEM aero bumper on eBay last week for a decent price. You can check to see if it's still there.

Yes, saw it but its almost as much as the OEM from Porsche. This is my first time on Rennlist. Will provide pics once out of shop. Being rebuilt. Long story but its not IMSB. Crankshaft bearing ( saddle) failure. New IMSB part of rebuilt. It's a 2000 996 Aero w non aero bumper cover. Overall, car is sweet.

The oem one I saw was ~$900. A new OEM one will run around $2k. It seems like someone knew how rare and fair the price was as it looks to have been sold already.

That was a really good price. The only ones I could find when I was looking was almost as much as a new one.

The search is over. Scored a aero bumper cover (Remanufactured OEM) thru eBay Motor for $600 plus shipping. Best price I've seen. Thanks all for the advice.

Original owner replaced damaged aero bumper with standard bumper. VIN search revealed that it is truly an aero. It has taco wing and rockers but standard front bumper cover. Should get new one in a week or so. Thanks.
