Default C4S Rear Badge Placement - Opinions wanted.

Since my car has the Aero wing on it, it loses the rear badging. A few of my friends commented that the car looks a little plain in the rear because of this. I have never really been a fan of the de-badging movement either.

So, I ordered a set of badges in chrome, I don't think the satin silver would look right against the reflector and temporarily attached them to the center reflector. I have mixed feelings on how it looks and figured I'd see what you guys think. So let me have it, tasteful mod or ghetto trash?

Personally, I'm not a fan of that placement. I prefer the simplicity of the reflector steip as it was intended. However, if you like it then you should keep it!

I had a 996 C4S, and I think it looks great on the reflector. You can hardly tell the difference, and looks a lot better than no badging on the rear.

I do like the uninterrupted strip on the back, that said this doesnt look too out of place.

The only issue I have is that I know where its "supposed" to be stock..without that reference this could pass as factory placement.

Like BAD. TAG said it doesn't look too out of place, only Porsche owners will notice it being In the wrong spot. Maybe you should try black, I think it will compliment the bumperettes. Spray paint it with black plastidip just in case you don't like it will peel it right off.

Interesting predicament you have. You are one of the very few who have the factory aero wing. I'm going to vote no badge.

Thanks for the input so far. Here is no badge for the sake of comparison. I think it looks a bit strange without any badging at all.

I like it de-badged to be honest.

I think it looks great either way. If you like it with the badge, leave it there.

Given the sheer volume of stickers Porsche is plastering on the back of their new cars, anything you do is going to be subtle by comparison.

Ain't that the truth! The new ones say...

P O R S C H E
911 Carrera C4S

Now that's a lot of badging!

I like the 991 but the badging borders on bad taste!

It kinda looks retro. That's not a bad thing.

Anyone want to guess what Hurdi's opinion will be?

Load up all of the badges, labels, crests, etc. you can find into a cannon and fire it at the back of the car to see what sticks?
