If we're gonna hire him anyway, can we also beat down "which oil" and "OMFG some white smoke came out of my car" threads?

I think we will have better luck bribing one of the moderators to ban the next person that says (>>>) you know what. I don't even want to use those 3 letters.

I have the plenum, but not the larger throttle body. I noticed a smoother acceleration, and feel a little more HP and TQ, but not the 25 they advertise for the 3.4L I have a "before" dyno, but not the after one yet. Clutch is starting to slip, so...

As someone who is guilty of an omg white smoke thread, maybe people could put together a FAQ thread with this stuff.

And if he mentions I$&@ and JG DT40 in the same sentence, ban him or put him in time out.

With ipd plenum and aftermarket headers/200cell/fabspeed supercups
my MAF datalog was 240 g/s max
I added larger ported TB with everything the same and MAF max was 235 g/s
I switched headers to x51 headers after the larger ported TB and now my max is 260 g/s.
My guess is the aftermarket headers were chocking the system? stock header diameter 42mm
My aftermarket one was 44.5mm. The x51's are 48mm pipes.
TB was opened up about 2mm I think..
I'm going off memory on the g/s numbers as it was earlier this year but it was similar to what I posted above.
I'm assuming higher g/s means more hp but I'll let someone else chime in on that...

I bought my 03C4S pre owned and it already had the IPD and software upgrade, and I don't know how many HP it has, but I do notice that it is noticeably quicker than other 996s that I test drove before. My best guestimate is that combined they added 20-30hp, maybe.

I agree this all too subjective. Does anyone have any real dyno numbers for this mod? 3.4L and 3.6L?
