Default 997 floor mats on a 996 fit sorta....(pics)

So I couldn't resist the $29.95 Porsche original floormats on sale from Suncoast last week - they're made for a 997 - and read somewhere that they sort of fit...here are pics for future potential buyers - I bought a deviating color that matches my exterior blue. And yes, if you have Bose in your 996 you have to buy the Bose 997 version so that the passenger side will work.

I also have them. Not a perfect fit. But, I think they're great.
