Default Island update

Greetings from the islands. I had posted earlier about my 99 911 that had a clanking in the engine. I listened and reviewed all the post. Changed all fluids and filters, and put the great oil in it and some high octane fuel. Engine actually sounded like it was getting quieter, until kaboom. Engine literally blew up, there is a crack right above the main drive pulley. Not sure what I am going to do, but very disappointed in a car that costs my brother $125,000.00 landed on the island and spent most of its life garaged. I really expected more from a German icon. Will check around for engine swap, upgrade, etc. But unfortunately I think that unless I can get the car to Raby, or LS5 conversion, another Porsche motor will just lead to more frustration. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks for the support.

Well running it with mechanical noises will load to this result on just about any car. Used 3.4L is $4-5K, might as well go that route.
