Default Phoenix area Gundo Hack

Anyone used a muffler shop in the Phoenix area to do the Gundo hack/PSE Hack etc. and have a recommendation?

Thanks,

Dan

IMHO, don't screw around with local shop, just work with FD Motorsports (http://fdmotorsports.net/) and get a set of modified cans from them. From everything I've read they do a great job, stand behind their products, and are super to work with.

Everything I have read is good also except they can't keep up with their orders.

I had a local shop do it for 160$ all in inluding install and removal (60% saving over Fd price), its easy to do any muffler shop can do a great job on it, just show them pictures there is tons on the internet.

I had mine done by FD Motorsports and they are awesome to work with. As stated before, there is a wait to get them done because they don't require a deposit or upfront payment for the replacement cans. Those folks that get them done are sometimes laggers and don't return the cores in a timely manner. I discussed it with Darin Fister and he felt using the honesty policy was more in line with his business model.

I would definitely recommend the FD version. It's done right with stainless etc.

NOTE: My signature picture was before the mod.

Mine is done with stainless. Many local muffler shops have the facility to do stainless welding.

Got mine done this morning at Mesa Muffler in Mesa, AZ. $200 total, left the car and they took care of it, made sure it wasn't parked out front when done so as to keep it from getting door dings etc. I have no affiliation just happy with the job.
