you don't have to do the 8 inch screen we can always go with a 7 inch screen with the porsche logo dash kit which is a clean look as well with the boot screen keep it more of an oem feel

About the noise, what are some things you can do? I have what I think is a very short solid ground for both my amp and head unit but I still get a very slight whine that can only be heard when the radio is muted. The pitch changes with the RPMs.

What is so difficult about the idea of creating an aftermarket headlight/tail light for a car that looks like it could be OEM? Is it really that hard to design something that compliments and modernizes the styling of the car instead of looking like it came from the clearance isle at Pep Boys? Good Lord.
Couldn't agree more with the Captain. This style headlight has been available for the last few years, doesn't look "Porsche", and is not for me. Ditch the cheap looking LEDs and come up with a "clean" looking integrated headlight module that more naturally incorporates the turn signal into the unit without looking like an afterthought. And pricing is key. Few people are going to shell out $1500 unless the look is a significant improvement over factory, which these are not.

I found the Audio Control EQS work the best.

1. it isolates the rca grounds inside the EQ
2. It allows the Rca to be balanced line
3. you can fine tune the input gain to eliminate the wind all together and adjust the output gain for good volume and signal to the amp.

you can try copper coated tape around the wires that pass by the fuse panel in some cases this will shield the rca or speaker wires to eliminate the interference

rca filters can increase the noise in my experience

also i have found if you run the amp turn on thru a relay it will also help eliminate this noise.

yes out of the box the lights tie in to the parking lights For the White LED.

Now if you want them on all the time like a AUTO DRL you just have to add a relay and power to the parking lights similar to our 997 DTR Auto thread

The car stock has no DTR feature. The lights are plug and play on 996 MK1 and the Boxster

Del Rey,
I want to put led lights on my 2001 C2. It looks like even the OEM ones would fit in the scoop, but not sure. Do you have something like this and how hard is it to install?
