: to install (new or modified parts or equipment) in something previously manufactured or constructed
Not
retro
: relating to, reviving, or being the styles and especially the fashions of the past : fashionably nostalgic or old-fashioned <a retro look>
Kinda like when OEM is not OEM

Oh yay, more crappy looking headlights crammed full of tacky LEDs.
What is so difficult about the idea of creating an aftermarket headlight/tail light for a car that looks like it could be OEM? Is it really that hard to design something that compliments and modernizes the styling of the car instead of looking like it came from the clearance isle at Pep Boys? Good Lord.

Well if anyone has about 400k. We can get something going thats about what it cost to make a mold and order the first 500 set.
Can we get find and investor who is interest?
all my capital tied up trying to get a 996 turbo tail light done.

If I'm changing out my headlights, I think I'd just stick to OEM litronics. The LEDs looked pretty cool when they first came out on Audis, but I think they're too overdone now.
Different story for the rears. THey really look good and OEMish.

there not for everyone i will agree
renntech been trying to get those lights done for a long time
only problem there running into is that some people have got rid of their cars. and most of them are 997.
i think EB works was trying to do something
I know the minimum production run is 50-100 and about 1000.00 -1200.00 a light

Some of you guys are pretty harsh on the time it took him to post PICs and the idea of "... retro" vs. "... retro." Tough crowd.
My 2 Cents... The rear lights look really nice... The fronts look too busy... The older my car gets, the more it starts to look, well, older, and some of the freshening up ideas just don't seem to work.
The stereo upgrade and install looks great. Very nice work guys and nice that you took the effort to have the Porsche logo load in to the screen. Nice idea to move the A/C controls down... And nice placement of the components. It looks great. Hope it sounds as good too. (No reason to think it wouldn't).
I've really been struggling with mine and what to do there. On the one hand, I like the stock look, but I sure miss the XM in my wife's HONDA!
Thanks for sharing.

PS Did not like the smart phone dock. I think a better idea would be to hide the plug in the console or one of the storage bins... Just my opinion.
