Anyone heading to Hershey this weekend?

I'm probably going. Never been before, but it could be interesting. Probably won't be picking up a souvenir shirt, though
Say Hi if you see me. Me: Red jacket and an 8-year-old blonde boy in tow. I'm sure I'll have to promise him a toy Porsche. Seems only fair, since that's what I have.

I drove over Friday night, spent the night, and was at Hershey Park first thing this AM. It was my first time there and I would guess there were 300+ Porsches in the lot. It was very cool.
The weather was sunny but cold and windy. It was really quite cool to see all of these cars in one spot. I spent more time walking up and down the rows of cars than I did looking at parts!
Another neat thing: I got to meet Karl Ludvigsen and got his autograph in his book "Porsche - Origin of the Species".
As for the T-shirts for the event, were just not my cup of tea.....

I think I arrived a tad too late in the afternoon but feel it was still worth the trip. Had a great drive there and back, all in all a really good day.
Stopped at the Turkey Hill for a cup of coffee before hitting the road and got a kick out of hearing a woman comment "My God, they are everywhere today".

Had a nice drive up and a nice day with my son. Lots of cool cars, but all the vendors seemed to be selling ancient parts for ancient Porsches, so I came up mostly empty handed. Still, it was a enjoyable trip
