ABS and PSM failure at the same time?

ABS and PSM failure at the same time?
Took my 02 turbo out for a drive today, finally having some decent weather. Pulled on to the highway and opened it up a bit, almost immediately after hitting a little speed both the ABS and PSM failure lights come on?
I pulled over and shut the car down, waited a minute and started it back up... no lights?
Anybody else have this experience or care to share what may have caused it?
Thanks,
Mike

MAF problem
Step 1) Replace Filter
Step 2) Clean MAF
Step 3) Clear code and hope for best
Step 4) If lights come back on, spend money and replace MAF

yep. replace MAF. cheap enough and that is what is wrong. cleaning the old one is a waste of time.

Thanks for the input fellows, I did a bit more research and all of your suggestions a right on.
MAF or brake switch, however, I'm not ruling out voltage regulator and or alternator based on a few other posts I read.
Thanks again, really appreciate the suggestions.

I had something similar after working on a leaking radiator, I had stripped the front end, so had the lights out and the RH front rad removed, I had also done the water pump and like a dullard when I refitted the airbox had not connected the MAF.
When I started the car I had both the PSM & ABS warning lights on, after testing the rad wasn’t leaking I replaced the front end and then realized I missed the MAF and re-connected that. On restarting all the warning lights were out.
Having not read the other threads I am pretty sure it is linked to the MAF

Could be also a wheel sensor, had to recenter mine when I installed springs to lower the car.
Also low brake fluid but that should also trigger another warning.

Thanks again, I will have these items looked at when it goes in for spring time oil service, hopefully next week, starting with MAF and then brake switch...
Stay well and enjoy your ride,
