He's not going to your traps because he is too busy eating your car from the inside out. Drastic times call for drastic measures and your electrical wiring is not cheap to repair/replace.
Also, you don't want him to die in there because there is nothing worse than a dead mouse smell that you will have a hard time getting rid of. Especially in your air vents. Start taking you car apart until you find the little fu$%er.
(How did my post get all the way up here????)

If he's really stubborn about taking the bait from your traps, thoroughly clean or get some new traps and don't handle them without gloves. Sometimes they smell 'somethin's up!'
Peanut butter bait, and some dry dog food kernels scattered around the trap. Even better, set a couple kernels out before the trap and get him used to the new food source.
Can you tell I've dealt with a stubborn mouse or two?

Get the sticky Tom Cat pads from your grocery store, and place 2 of them along a path where you've seen evidence. They will end up on the sticky pad and you can get them out of your P-car.
Seriously, order a small (only a small bottle needed) of this stuff: http://www.rataway.com/
I'm not affiliated with the guy, but am a happy customer. My wife had a mouse nest in her CL55. Caused a short. We found the nest. Sprayed it, and the mouse left.
I need to do my TT as a preventative measure as well. But I think that the fact that the engine is in the back of the car confuses the mouse, so no mice there yet. ;-)
