Thats always builder preference. I know what I'd do, but I can't dictate what others should do. There's a reason why the parts and processes for our engines cost 14K (minimum) before the labor even gets added into the equation.

No two builders are the same and no two engines are the same, or projects, or drivers.

haven't taken my old engine apart yet. it is the prevailing diagnosis by all the shops I've spoken with in getting estimates with my rebuild. .
Rick if it turns out to not be the IMS bearing let us know and maybe we can get one of the mods to fix the survey. Good luck on your build.

just use the 3.4 that is being taken apart and turn it into a 3.6
when you did the conversion from 3.4 to 3.6 can you quantify the power gain?
did you do a dyno pull from before to after? using LN parts, not including labor, it looks like about $4500+ upgrade.

Rick, you should search Logray's 3.4 to 3.6 rebuild. He did the conversion himself and the the posts are exceptional.

Don't really see the point of this video as it adds nothing. Where are the dyno numbers or graph?

It sounded cool?

Just kidding. Nice car and engine but I don't think I would stand that close.

I stand closer than that with great confidence. Try my engine dyno with an engine spinning 9,000 RPM next to you! In the control room we are protected with ballistic resistant glass.

I used to post dyno runs as videos, till the smart asses showed up.
