Question Litronic Headlight Washer ?

According to my car's option sheet I have the Litronic headlight (601) & Washer (288). Car also has the chrome plastic oval part on the assembly. Question is the headlight washer doesn't seem to operate when I pull the windshield washer stalk toward me. What am I missing here? Thx for all replies.

Doesn't the headlight washer work by pushing forward on the stalk?

Stupidest option ever, wish my car didn't have them. All they've done is cost me $80 in the past year to replace the stupid chrome covers when they popped off while I was driving.

I believe the washers are required by law on Xenon lights and higher power Halogens in Europe.

Wink headlight washer / buton on the dashboard

Hi there, wondering what is the round controller on the left of the radio with sort of a windshield wiper figure for?
It's like a volume controller goes left and right, no push no pull.

It's to regulate the interval of the intermittent wiper (lowest stalk position).

Correct! Turn left and the wiper interval is slow, turn right and it speeds up.

Glad someone revived this... I couldn't figure it out but it didn't annoy me enough to look it up so thank you.
