Default National Geographic - Megafactories: Porsche 911 (video)

Cool video on the 991 and the Zuffenhausen factory. , but some major disrespect for the 996 at the 15:00 minute mark...

I don't think this is a brand new video, but I hadn't seen it before.

That journalist doesn't know what he's talking about. He's a car reviewer that just started his career a few years ago - and the first Pcar he ever reviewed was a 2010 911 Turbo, and not someone I'd remotely consider a Porsche authoritarian.

Thanks for posting..definitely going to watch this later.

Had to FFWD to the 15min mark...He did at least say they are great cars. As a second hand buyer I like the prices they are at now

Has to be one of the best values for money going in todays sports car market. The average person will still think you paid $100K anyways lol

I watched this last night and it was good. Had no idea about this series that NG did on car companies and I plan to watch some of the others. Thx for sharing.

I watched the comment a little after the 15 min mark. I don't necessarily agree that people didn't like it because it was a departure from the normal 911 design (perhaps some). But I think a more unanimous sticking point was that it had the same headlights found on the entry level Boxster. You gotta wonder how many people would've made less of a stink if the mk1 headlights only came on the 911 model and nothing else. Besides brand distinction, there also has to be some level of model distinction, especially in high end cars IMO. 944/924 come to mind as well. My $.02
