My car is Lapis Blue exterior with the light grey interior which is exactly the combination I wanted. I prefer it over the Lapis Blue with black interior.

It depends largely on how the interior colour will match with the exterior colour.

I have black mats and they look great with the grey.

The only problem with the grey is that in some areas it chips easily and exposes the black plastic underneath. This is mainly around the rear half of the centre console I intend to have the console colour-coded same as the exterior as others have done.

I have full leather interior and I mixed it up with some black (seats,floor mats)and some tequipment alumalook accessories and alcantara trim .I like the combination.

It's a personal choice. For me, I always keep in mind, I sit IN the car and therefor have to look at it. I better like it. A lot. I actually passed on a car that had white gauges because I don't like them.
