Nevermind, just found what I was looking for. Autozone Mobil 1, 5 qt jug or 5 singles plus oil filter for $33.99. They never have a filter that will work so they will substitute for an extra qt of Mobil 1.
Hope this helps someone due for an oil change soon. Offer is good till Feb.

Check out the "Letters to the Editor" in the newest Excellence. One reader indicated that he changes his Mobil 1 0-40 every 3,000 miles and asked a question about running a different weight during summer.
Before they gave their advice to run 5-40 year round, they made a not too subtle dig stating that "given the brand and formulation" that a 3K interval was wise due to diminishing levels of ZDDP.

Interesting statement after all the years that Excellence had been recommending the factory fill of Mobil 0W-40.

I'm glad they did so. It prompted me to take a closer look at even the Castrol Edge 5-40. It's only marginally at the level Excellence was recommending (1,250 -1,350 PPM ZDDP). Once my current stock runs out I'll be moving onto a smaller brand that spends less on money on advertising and more on the actual product. Saving $100 or $200 a year given the issues Excellence points to in increased valvetrain wear from lower ZZDP oils seems really pound foolish.
