Got mine for less than $500 and that's about average (might even be on the high side recently)

His might be for sale for quite some time!

Yup, type POSH (GO). You can sort by state, country, etc.

Funny coincidence - this seller works at my firm!

An OEM stand (wall mount) costs about $650 by itself. Also, if it's in the right color, this is not a bad deal for someone and it wouldn't make them clueless.

$500 for a Silver or other common color top
$650 for an OEM stand
$$$$ for an OEM quality paint job that you hope is a good match
-------
$1750+

Paid $450 for mine (factory paint match with Porsche cover and Porsche folding stand). While shopping around, I saw a few listed (just the top) on CL/ebay in excess of $1000. I'd like to think that I did not overpay because I had a clue

However, I cannot/should not stop other people from how they want to spend their money

You can buy stands all day long for $100. The hardtop delete option wasn't even that much for God's sake.

I routinely see hardtops on Craigslist for $250-$500. This is a "nice price or crack pipe" listing, and I vote crack pipe.

A cheap price on a silver top isn't a bargain if you don't have a silver car.

I have a blue hardtop on my car and a wall mount on the wall of my garage. Not looking to sell it, but the first $1,750 takes it.
