The Black-Grey costs less because it is an unpainted textured plastic, so there is less involved in both parts and labor to produce it.

Do you carry the plug that replaces the lighter?

Asking for this for Christmas and am trying to determine what color is correct. I have black full leather option code but I don't know if that means black for this product or one of the other colors that are to my untrained eye "black" but might be black-grey for this product. Help!

You should need the all Black one in your 2002 Targa, the black-grey was discounted in '99.

Certainly a spiffy aftermarket item, but I'll pass. The ashtray is just right in which to store a roll of mints and my wife hasn't figured out how to work the lid. Also, when recharging my cellphone, it stores the lighter. And, who knows: the lighter might come in handy for torturing information from al Qaeda operatives I might come across at gas stations or welcome centers.

Agreed. I also replaced my lighter with a USB charger. Makes more sense and works great for my iPhone/iPad.

I also installed it; a 5 min job. However, if you want to change the lighter for an original 12v socket, you'll need a bit more patience.
