Default Some Before and After photos before our feasts begin...

Thanks to alot of useful information on these forums, here's what I've come up with so far... Still work in progress, but I just picked up "Sally" (My 5 year old son calls her Sally from Cars) a few weeks ago. She was a nice all factory example with all the dealer service records, etc... My intention is to have a clean 996 that I can play with on the weekends with a little spirited driving here and there with the possibility of taking her to the track if time permits.

So far I've done...

- OEM smoked sidemarkers
- Depo LED Taillights
- LED interior lights / license plate lights
- Very light tint all the way around
- K&N Cold Air Intake
- H&R Street Performance Coilover kit (Thanks to the DIY Tutorials on this forum!)
- 19x8.5 19x11 Roderick Wheels 45mm f / 52mm r (Yes they do fit)
- Hankook V12 235/35/19 - 285/30/19
- Fister D Mufflers at Darin's shop getting modded at the moment.

Interior mods and photos are coming soon. Guage rings, Carbon Fiber, Seats, etc... I'll update with photos as we progress. =)

Here are some of the wheels alone. This was an area of concern as I was unsure if this set up with fit without rolling fenders and other possible modifications. I really wanted an agressive set up that was plug and play. So far no rubbing, no rolloing fenders, etc... I will report back after taking her on a long bumpy drive.

This one is compressed on the curb to check clearance...

IMO, I didnt see anything wrong with the original wheels / tires. Those new ones look to be a really tight fit. Anyway, beautiful car.

DO NOT TRACK IT!!!!! Didnt you read the other post? It will blow up.

I like the new agressive stance. Wheels are beautiful, I hope it does not rub looks really close in the back. Your car is a twin to mine except for the new wheels.

+1 The 5-spoke wheel is God's gift to man. They're so very easy to clean and, as a bonus, they look great!

P.S. I like your garage doors very much.

very nice looking car and tasteful mods...
i really like the tail lights and want them myself but i read in one the the threads that those led tail lights have been causing electrical issues since it uses less volts then oem lights. Have you had any issues?

..........to your new toy

I agree. I actually like these oem wheels along with many other oem Porsche style wheels. However, if you look closely, you will see all the curb rash on the original wheels and the tires were old and needed replacement. Besides, a sporty mesh wheel always goes well on a Porsche I also feel the same about BMW. As for Mercedes, I think a nice 5 Star looks good.

As for tracking, it may never see the track, but it would be nice to take her out for a few rides.

No issues whatsoever and soooo easy to install. I've had great luck with depo products in the past with all my other euro cars so I didn't even hesitate on the lights.

So far so good. Nice little growl at wot not much difference in hp although this has been debated to death. I've had these kits in my other cars. I guess I did it for the looks, sound and for the sake of modding. Lol
