My friend built me mine. They deepened after about 300 miles. I have taken 2 hour trips with the bypass and I think you just get used to it after a while.

This video is about a day after I installed them.

Where have you purchased your taillights? They look great!

I sometimes drive my track car to the shop and I cannot imagine ever wanting to have muffler bypass pipes for street use. But they are great for the track in conjunction with stock cats for the back pressure!

I've got EvoMS headers with Fabspeed mufflers and I think it sounds awesome. I'm not sure how it compares to PSE or any of the other alternatives. People have always been very positive about the Fister D option.

I have a set of 996 After Hours Exhaust that is nearly a bypass. (does have straight through mufflers). Going to remove since planning to list for sale with stock exhaust.

I tried to run my street car with the Muffler bypass pipes on the street for about 2 months and it was not something that I would do long term... While my son Sasha thought it was the greatest thing ever.

You can't really run bypass pipes on the street without upsetting everyone (be fair).. I run open pipes in my race car and with nothing but bare metal inside it is incredibly loud - inside and out. You absolutely MUST wear hearing protection. I won't take someone for a ride without it.

I have molded ear plugs for communications, but for basic protection I found the Howard Leight plugs are the best bang for the buck. A box of 100 costs next to nothing and they are reusable. Don't get them one at a time at a race shop. Get the industrial box. Much cheaper. I have a bag of them with me and hand them out all over the place.

These are a bargain: http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/sa...ing-protection

My track prepared but street legal (not gutted) GT3 has Fabspeed exhaust and headers. Cats are gutted. Its loud but acceptable for the street when I don't wind it up. But on the track, the car is wound up to high RPM's all the time and I absolutely wear ear plugs. My passengers in the GT3 too. Sometimes wear them on long trips as well.

Don't get the corded ones!!. They seem convenient, but you can snag the cord (especially on a HANS) and pull the plug out a bit.

I still have mild tinnitus from a plug getting snagged and someone going by with open pipes three years ago - in my street legal GT3....

At the track, you need hearing protection not just for your car but also for the cars around you. I surely wouldn't want to hear my race car (avatar) pass without hearing protection.

If its loud enough to hurt its already waaaaay past the point of doing permanent damage.

Fabspeed headers, mufflers and cats sound great on the street. But if you wind it up you need protection.

You should really start a new thread for this, it is that important...for the life of me I have not been able to find a good folder gluer, UNTIL NOW.

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad everyone is enjoying there Fabspeed systems.
Hey Akshun, if you are looking for something aggressive but can be quiet and subtle with a click of a button, check out our Valvetronic Mufflers. They give you the best of both worlds, so you can go from running a muffler to bypassing the muffler. The mufflers sound great already and are perfect for everyday driving, but you can hit the sport button and go into loud track car mode. We also have our Supercup mufflers which are louder then the maxflo Mufflers but quieter then the straight bypass pipes. The Valvetronic Mufflers are the popular thing right now as everyone wants control and the option for two great things.

PM me if you have any question and for special member pricing.
Thanks,
