How much is your gas milage affected by the winter weather?

I was wondering the same thing why a 500mph flying aircraft is being compared to an auto driving 60mph on the road? Some people sure over complicate things.
Just like JR said, fuel blends up North. I dont think they change much down here because everything runs better from the cooler, more dense air.
