Default RUF Short Shift Kit?

I know much has been written about short shift kits in the past. However, very little about the RUF SSK. I was sold on the OEM 997 SSK based on info from forums and asked my indy to install. They are a RUF Auto dealer and very knowledgeable generally. I was told that the RUF SSK is a work of art and is an outstanding product which operates very smoothly and has no plastic parts.

Does anyone have experience with the RUF SSK?

Also, you can select setting from 20%, 30%, 40% shorter shift. Which is best for everyday driving?

Does it shorten the travel for all gears (not just 1,3,5)?

Thanks for all the great participation and information on this forum!

Will also be interested to hear about this option. My OEM SSK is due to be replaced but haven't been able to decide between the 997 SSK, 997 stock, or 2010 GT3 option. If I understand it correctly the 997 stock and 2010 GT3 are not SSK, but also wondering if they have a shorter throw than the stock 996.
