Default Question for Kiwi Wifi Users

I have a kiwi wifi OBD2 reader and while it works great there is one thing that is bothering me.

If I leave it connected, when I go to start the car it never turns over at the first crank of the key. It acts like I don't have the clutch depressed. But if I just turn the key off and crank it again it starts right up.

This only happens when I have the kiwi connected. Without it the car starts every time without hesitation.

Anyone else get this? Any ideas of what might cause it?

I have not experienced that behavior with mine. I leave it plugged into the OBD port all the time, but do turn the kiwi power switch off when I'm not using it.

Thanks I haven't tested with it turned off. I'll have to try that today.
