Did you have to do any modifications to the fan or air box I want to do the same conversion
On a 2001 C2 I have a complete turbo decklid with fan brake light and wiring harness

I think that looks really good. So on a C4S would it be just a direct bolt on and plug?

Did you use the fan from the C2 or from the twin turbo
Also did you have to modify the latch.?

How did you cut the sides and the bottom: what type of tool? Also, did you move the base for the latch, if so how? Any pics of the inside of the cut areas? I am in the process of doing the same mod's.
Thanks for any help!

familycar911, how did you get this to fit? I have a 1999 and I also have a perfect turboS wing, and I would love to fit it to my car. Can you maybe email me what you did? jzzzake@yahoo.com. Thanks! BTW amazing job, looks perfect

I'm just curious how you got around some of the mounting issues, if you don't mind I'd like to pick your brain as to how you did it. Thanks again. jzzzake@yahoo.com

That post is fantastic, my only question would be where did he relocate the latch striker to?

BTW his report of 8 hours of work may be on the low side.

I'm in the process of fitting the wing also. I've found you need to loosen the hinges on the trunk and spread them to the widest "setting" to get the lid to squeeze in. Also thinking of elongating the holes on the hinges to have the decklid sit higher on the back of the mounting area.

I haven't gotten to the latch striker but I bought a set of metal brackets to attempt to relocate the latch striker, bolting off an existing piece on the lower lid.

I've also fabbed brackets to bolt under the spoiler area. I don't plan to install the K&N in order to get the full hydraulic system to fit. Posted my K&N for sale.

I spent a full day working the lid and still only about 80% done.
